Irish Life Health, Laya Healthcare, VHI Healthcare , Glo Health and other health insurers endorse some Psychological and Holistic services as a member benefit of professional accreditation bodies such as Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), National Register Of Reflexologists (NRRI) and The Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) with a reimbursement of up to 50% per treatment which is subject to your policy. You may need to check your policy document to see if this benefit is included in your policy.
Receipts can be requested by email to our office manager Nicola who will be happy yo help you with this matter. Tax payers can claim health expenses against their tax. The Med 1 is no longer available. Health expenses are claimed through your Income Tax (IT) return. If you are PAYE taxpayer, you also have the option to claim relief in real time during the year. You can claim relief on health expenses through myAccount or Revenue Online Service (ROS).
You can only claim for expenses that you have receipts for. You can claim relief on the last four year’s health expenses. If you have private health insurance, you can claim tax relief on the portion of those expenses not covered by your insurer. The fees for Treatment are deductible only if your GP or consultant has specifically referred you to Anam Healthcare. You will need to include the letter of referral with your receipts when making the tax claim.
